Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at Scion Nonprofit Staffing. This role will focus on providing administrative support to our nonprofit partner, promoting safety and performance in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record Management: Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements.
  • Communication Support: Develop meeting agendas, take minutes, and assist with correspondence.
  • Program Enrollment: Assist with the enrollment of classroom training and monitor program status.
  • Database Management: Maintain the apprenticeship database, streamlining administration and delivery of programs.
  • Marketing Support: Assist with marketing the apprenticeship programs to increase participation.
  • Continuing Education: Manage Continuing Education Programs and assist with Membership Events and Communications.
  • Liaison: Collaborate with Committee Chairs to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), MS Access, and MS Outlook.
  • Typing Skills: Experienced typist with high-speed accuracy.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities with a strong attention to detail.
  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrates diligence and maintains a high level of accuracy.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Time Management: Effective time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven supervisory and leadership skills.
Compensation and Benefits

In addition to an hourly rate of $22/hr., the company will provide health, vision, dental, PTO, 401K, life insurance, and more.
