Position Overview:

The Operations Leader (OL) is responsible for ensuring that our facilities provide an exceptional experience for guests and members.
  • Accountable for communicating and maintaining company standards while exemplifying the Crunch Fitness "NO JUDGMENTS" philosophy, focusing on cleanliness, friendly service, and well-maintained facilities.
  • Ensure team members consistently uphold standards in punctuality, appearance, friendliness, and cleanliness.
  • Prioritize member retention by championing the best experiences and operational practices.
  • Collaborate closely with the club manager to recruit, train, and develop a strong team of Member Service Representatives, Kids' Club staff, and Porters who embody our philosophy.
  • Oversee the successful achievement of departmental objectives, including member service, cleanliness, revenue, and retention.
  • Work with the club manager to maintain a well-equipped and safe environment for both members and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Service Management:
    Ensure all members receive outstanding service and engagement, regularly interacting with them and conducting satisfaction surveys.
  • Address member concerns professionally, adhering to company guidelines.
  • Monitor facility conditions and equipment, resolving issues that may detract from the member experience.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork across club functions to enhance both member and team member experiences.
Administrative Duties:
  • Drive efforts to achieve revenue targets in retail and ancillary services.
  • Assist in planning and executing promotions and merchandising strategies.
  • Ensure optimal merchandising and compliance with inventory policies.
  • Implement new operational procedures and conduct compliance checks.
  • Manage team member relations within the operations team.
  • Ensure adherence to all standard operating procedures.
  • Oversee inventory control activities and prepare reports.
Staffing and Development:
  • Maintain a high-performing member service team aligned with company values.
  • Assist in training and developing Front Desk and Kids' Club staff.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide guidance towards achieving personal and company goals.
  • Coach staff in collaboration with the club manager and Human Resources.
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service or operations.
  • Preferred: management experience in fitness, retail, or hospitality with a team of 3-10 employees.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
  • Basic proficiency in record-keeping practices.
  • Experience with office equipment and proficiency in Word and Excel.
Certifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred but not mandatory.
  • CPR and AED certification required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to navigate club facilities and engage with members and staff.
  • Proficient in using company computer systems for documentation and data entry.
Work Environment:
  • Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and occasional loud noise levels.
  • Extended workdays and weekend shifts may be necessary to support business needs.
