Position Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing complex supervisory tasks within the maintenance department. This role involves daily monitoring of performance metrics and directing maintenance personnel to ensure optimal operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the training initiatives for team members in various maintenance disciplines including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Assist in diagnosing equipment malfunctions and guide team members in the repair and installation of industrial machinery.
  • Enforce safety protocols and interpret company policies to ensure compliance among staff.
  • Propose enhancements to working conditions and equipment usage to boost departmental efficiency.
  • Develop motivational strategies to encourage team performance aligned with company objectives.
  • Conduct specialized training sessions on equipment operation for maintenance staff.
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues, providing support to team members and contractors as needed.
  • Review and explain technical specifications and blueprints to team members and external contractors, adjusting work procedures to meet production timelines.
  • Collaborate with management to recommend improvements in production methods and equipment performance.
  • Plan and oversee facility modifications, including budgeting and scheduling for projects.
Additional Duties:
  • Manage scheduling for personnel and project teams, including external contractors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical industries is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred.
Education & Experience:
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role within the Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical sectors, along with a four-year degree from an accredited institution.
