Position Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing complex supervisory tasks that monitor departmental performance on a daily basis. This role involves directing maintenance personnel, ensuring timely completion of paperwork, and maintaining a safe working environment. The supervisor will oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and modification of facilities and equipment, as well as design and adapt specialized production machinery. The goal is to enhance manufacturing processes while minimizing costs and maximizing safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead training initiatives for associates in the maintenance and repair of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Assist team members in diagnosing equipment malfunctions and guide them in the disassembly, assembly, and installation of industrial machinery during repairs or modifications.
  • Communicate company policies to team members and enforce safety regulations effectively.
  • Propose improvements in working conditions and equipment usage to boost efficiency.
  • Develop and implement motivational plans to help associates meet company objectives.
  • Conduct specialized training programs for associates on specific machinery.
  • Analyze and resolve equipment-related issues, providing support to associates and contractors as needed.
  • Interpret technical specifications and job orders for associates and external contractors, adjusting work procedures to align with project timelines.
  • Recommend enhancements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality while coordinating with management and supervisors on maintenance and construction activities.
  • Plan and budget for facility modifications, including cost estimates and contract management.
Additional Duties:
  • Manage scheduling for personnel and project teams, including external contractors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by plant management.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical industries is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
Education & Experience:
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, including 3 years in the Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical industries, along with a four-year degree from an accredited institution.
