Ensure a secure and efficient working environment for maintenance operations by overseeing the installation, upkeep, and repair of machinery, equipment, tools, and utility systems to guarantee uninterrupted functioning in the Further Processing (Ready to Eat) or (Ready to Cook) sectors of the facility.

Execute intricate, non-repetitive managerial tasks that involve daily monitoring of departmental performance.

Guide Supervisors and Lead associates to ensure that all documentation is accurately distributed and completed in a timely manner.

Uphold a safe working atmosphere and supervise all essential procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train maintenance mechanics at a foundational level to enhance their operational efficiency.
  • Install electrical motors with the correct voltage and phase, and diagnose electrical issues in individual and three-phase motors.
  • Utilize necessary hand tools effectively to enhance equipment and instrument functionality.
  • Interpret mechanical designs, reconstruct mechanical boxes and pumps, and install and connect conduit straps.
  • Exhibit excellent time management, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Maintain exemplary attendance, personnel, and safety records.
  • Possess knowledge of workplace safety regulations.
  • Compile daily budget reports for the Cost Center.
  • Inspect daily supply releases.
  • Oversee CMMS / SAP work order requests.
  • Monitor the progress of ongoing projects.
  • Collaborate with external resources for maintenance and capital solutions.
  • Participate in daily meetings.
  • Conduct weekly safety and equipment audits.
  • Attend KPI and Capital meetings.
  • Draft CERs as necessary.
  • Manage assigned capital projects.
  • Prepare KPIs.
  • Maintain budgets within designated departments.
  • Foster a team-oriented environment.
  • Provide guidance for SAP CMMS and the BOSS System.
  • Support designated production areas.
  • Conduct facility walkarounds.
  • Track the progress of ongoing projects.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


Experience with plant production equipment and control systems; familiarity with CERs, budget management, safety, and food safety protocols; strong team-building skills and an understanding of leadership principles.


Education & Experience:

A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience or 7 years of related experience is required. Familiarity with food production equipment is essential. A degree in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Additional Duties:

Assist the Engineering department in executing approved capital projects within your area of responsibility.
