POSITION OVERVIEW:

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that the Life Safety Code, physical facilities, equipment, grounds, and utilities are maintained in optimal condition, adhering to community policies as well as state and federal regulations. You will follow all health, sanitation, and infection control protocols while upholding the standards of practice established by the community's administration and Maintenance Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficient in English with the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute both verbal and written directives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and community staff.
  • Knowledge of proper safety and sanitation practices.
  • Flexibility to work scheduled hours as required by the position.
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.

Experience:

  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in environmental services, maintenance, or a related field, preferably within the healthcare or hospitality sectors.
  • Previous experience in long-term care settings is preferred but not mandatory.

Work Schedule and Compensation:

  • Annual Salary: Up to $60,000
