POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in assisting Management to foster a customer-centric and product-oriented sales atmosphere, where our core values and guiding principles are integral to all store operations. This includes ensuring an exceptional customer experience while maximizing profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Results Orientation
  • Achieve company sales targets by employing effective sales techniques and sharing product knowledge with customers; assist in merchandise selection or help locate items based on customer preferences.
  • Stay informed about current promotions and sales; uphold pricing and visual merchandising standards.
  • Maintain high standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other tasks as directed by Management.
  • Participate in visual merchandising initiatives, including monthly store setups and zone maintenance.

Customer Experience
  • Exemplify and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience.
  • Address customer concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Facilitate a quick and efficient checkout process, staying updated on policies regarding payments, coupon usage, returns, exchanges, security protocols, and other operational procedures.
  • Reinforce purchasing decisions at the register and meet add-on sales goals, including gift card promotions.
  • Enroll clients in the rewards program.
  • Cultivate and maintain a loyal customer base through personalized service and wardrobe consultations.
  • Stay knowledgeable about current product fits and style offerings available in-store and online.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients through a customer relationship management system.

Operational Excellence
  • Support restocking efforts to ensure the store remains well-stocked and inviting.
  • Assist with order fulfillment tasks.
  • Contribute to visual merchandising efforts, including floor layouts, window displays, and signage placement as directed.
  • Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the boutique.

Team Collaboration and Development
  • Foster an inclusive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Seek opportunities for personal development and actively request feedback.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous retail or sales experience is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to company-provided technology.
  • Excellent organizational skills and capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, team members, and Management.
  • Regular attendance is essential to ensure adequate coverage for company objectives. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Frequent walking and standing throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of an 8-hour shift).
  • Frequent climbing (34%-66% of an 8-hour shift).

The wage range for this position is $19.50 to $24.50, with successful candidates' rates determined based on individual qualifications.
