Tempositions, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified Litigation Counsel with significant expertise in general litigation and a specialization in employment law.

This position entails delivering thorough legal advice to the organization, overseeing intricate litigation cases, and ensuring adherence to employment legislation.

The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication, writing, and interpersonal abilities, along with a proven track record of succeeding in a dynamic work environment.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Perform extensive legal research and analysis on various employment law issues, including but not limited to discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and leave regulations.

2. Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, severance packages, and other related documents.

3. Provide strategic legal guidance to management on employment-related matters, including risk evaluation and mitigation strategies.

4. Represent the organization in administrative hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court cases as necessary.

5. Develop and enforce employment policies and procedures to guarantee compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

6. Stay informed about developments in employment law and provide regular updates to management.


Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law institution.

• Admission to the New Jersey Bar is required; admission to the New York Bar is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in general litigation with a strong focus on employment law.

• Proven experience in drafting and negotiating employment contracts and agreements.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks effectively.

• Proficiency in legal research and writing.

Preferred

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with employment litigation in both state and federal courts.

• Knowledge of employment law regulations across various jurisdictions.
