Job Overview:

The Speech Pathologist is responsible for delivering comprehensive diagnostic, habilitative, and rehabilitative services to individuals experiencing communication disorders across various age groups. This role involves providing essential counseling to patients and their families regarding diagnostic results, therapeutic strategies, and potential referrals. The Speech Pathologist will also assist in the enhancement of diagnostic and therapeutic resources and conduct educational sessions on topics related to speech, language, or swallowing disorders.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience

Certification/Licensure Required:

  • Active New Jersey state licensure in Speech/Language Pathology
  • New Jersey speech specialist certification or eligibility
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech/Language Pathology

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Per Diem availability
  • Weekend availability required

Essential Functions:

  • Conduct in-service training on topics related to speech, language, or dysphagia
