Mavis Tires is excited to expand its team and is seeking dedicated full-time Automotive Service Assistants and Managers. Our cutting-edge automotive service and tire retail centers are looking for skilled individuals to contribute to our success.

Role of the Assistant Manager

The Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in the seamless operation of the service center. Responsibilities include scheduling technician workloads, managing parts inventory, ensuring high-quality service delivery, maintaining safety standards, and overseeing shop cleanliness. Candidates should have a solid understanding of automotive repairs, including under-car services, alignments, tires, and exhaust systems, along with basic mathematical and computer skills. Effective communication of safety and mechanical concerns to the store manager is essential, as well as possessing basic leadership abilities.

Role of the Service Manager

The Service Manager is tasked with guiding customers in selecting tires and understanding necessary repair services. This position is sales-focused and requires previous experience in sales, particularly in areas that involve upselling. Familiarity with automotive repairs and the industry is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills and a personable demeanor are vital for success in this role.

Qualifications

We seek team members who are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality work. To qualify for the Automotive Assistant / Service Manager positions, candidates must meet the following criteria: (1) be at least 18 years old; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess (i) at least one year of experience or training in automotive parts or tire sales, (ii) one year of experience or training in automotive repairs or maintenance, or (iii) a combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.
