KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Arrive for work at designated times; adhere to scheduled breaks and departures.
  • Assist in maintenance operations; achieve production targets established by management.
  • Receive Repair Orders from the Lead Technician.
  • Efficiently complete assigned customer and warranty services or repairs, including air conditioning, brake adjustments, engine repairs, oil changes, and tune-ups.
  • Follow all established work procedures and technical guidelines.
  • Utilize technical training effectively.
  • Engage in ongoing technical training to enhance skills and meet industry standards.
  • Ensure that all services and repairs meet quality benchmarks.
  • Coordinate the cleaning and washing of serviced and repaired vehicles.
  • Manage parts and supplies from inventory responsibly; maintain accurate records of usage.
  • Document all service, repair, and warranty work accurately.
  • Maintain an inventory of essential mechanic's tools not provided by the Service Department.
  • Adhere to safety protocols; maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Properly dispose of all waste, especially hazardous materials.
  • Report any accidents or unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with the group leader, service consultants, and customers as necessary.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent; one to two years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must possess a valid driver's license and be legally authorized to work in the United States.
