Automotive Service Supervisors at Mavis Tires


Mavis Tires is excited to announce openings for full-time Automotive Assistants and Service Managers at our advanced automotive service and tire retail centers. We are a leading name in the tire sales and automotive repair industry, with a vast network of locations across the United States.

Role of the Assistant Manager

The Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the service center. Responsibilities include scheduling the work of mechanics and technicians, managing parts inventory, and guaranteeing that all jobs are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Candidates should have a solid understanding of under-car repairs, alignments, tire services, and exhaust systems, along with basic math and computer skills. Effective communication regarding safety and mechanical concerns to the store manager is essential. Basic leadership and supervisory skills are also necessary for success in this position.

Role of the Service Manager

The Service Manager is tasked with guiding customers in selecting tires and understanding the necessary under-car repair services. This position is sales-focused and requires prior experience in sales, particularly in areas that involve upselling. Familiarity with automotive repairs and the industry is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills are vital, as is a friendly and success-driven attitude.

Qualifications

We seek individuals who are dedicated to achieving complete customer satisfaction and delivering top-notch service. To qualify for the Automotive Assistant / Service Manager position, candidates must (1) be at least 18 years old; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess (i) a minimum of 1 year of experience or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, (ii) a minimum of 1 year of experience or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) a combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.
