Mavis Tires is excited to expand our team We are currently seeking dedicated full-time Automotive Service Leaders and Assistants to become part of our dynamic workforce at our modern automotive service and tire retail centers.

Role of the Assistant Manager

The Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the service center. Responsibilities include scheduling technicians, managing inventory, and guaranteeing that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Candidates should have a solid understanding of automotive repairs, including under-car services, alignments, and tire management, along with basic mathematical and computer skills. Effective communication regarding safety and mechanical concerns with the management team is essential. Leadership abilities are also important for success in this position.

Role of the Service Manager

The Service Manager is tasked with guiding customers in selecting tires and understanding necessary repair services. This position is sales-focused and requires prior experience in sales, particularly in up-selling automotive products and services. Familiarity with automotive repairs is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor are vital for success in this role.

Qualifications

We are looking for team members who are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality work. To qualify for the Automotive Service Leader / Assistant position, candidates must meet the following criteria: (1) be at least 18 years old; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess (i) a minimum of 1 year of experience in automotive parts or tire sales, (ii) at least 1 year of experience in automotive repair or maintenance, or (iii) a combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.
