Vice President of Human Resources Operations

Daemen University is in search of a Vice President to lead the human resources and payroll operations. This role encompasses the management of employment documentation, employee relations, benefits administration, recruitment strategies, and adherence to employment legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic leader for the Employee Engagement Division.
- Formulate annual operational strategies in alignment with the University's financial plan.
- Implement human resources policies and procedures.
- Supervise talent acquisition processes and onboarding for new hires.
- Oversee employee benefits and compensation structures.
- Offer expertise on HR procedures and employee relations matters.
- Ensure adherence to employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain human resources records and information management systems.
- Engage in organizational development and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with both internal and external partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
- HR certifications are advantageous.
- A minimum of seven years of experience in human resources is essential.
- Strong analytical capabilities and leadership qualities are necessary.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Compensation Package:
The compensation for this role is competitive, starting at $115,000. Daemen University provides a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health insurance, retirement contributions, tuition waivers, and generous leave policies.
