Is This Role Right for You?

As a Member Services Representative, also known as a Financial Service Consultant, you will manage all remote communications with our members, including phone calls, emails, and web chats. Your responsibilities will include addressing account inquiries, processing transactions, and promoting relevant credit union products and services while adhering to our established service standards.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Responding promptly and courteously to all member communications.
  • Collaborating with members to identify and meet their needs.
  • Opening various account types, including checking, savings, CDs, and IRAs.
  • Processing consumer loan applications and coordinating with loan officers.
  • Resolving complex inquiries related to credit union accounts and services.
  • Engaging with members for special projects as needed.
  • Alerting management to service concerns while monitoring call volume and service levels.
  • Aiming to meet individual and team service goals.

What We Seek in Candidates:

  • A high school diploma or GED, along with at least one year of customer service experience.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and quick calculation skills.
  • Proficiency in writing basic business communications.
  • Familiarity with MS Windows and MS Office applications.
  • Experience in a call center or banking environment is preferred.
  • Availability for various shifts from Monday to Saturday.

Compensation and Benefits:
Our compensation range reflects a variety of factors, including skills, experience, and organizational needs. Typically, new hires are not placed at the top of the range. The estimated salary range for this position is $53,000 to $60,000.
