Role Overview

As a Member Services Representative, also known as a Financial Service Consultant, you will manage all remote interactions with our members, including phone calls, emails, and web chats. Your responsibilities will include addressing account inquiries, processing transactions, and promoting relevant credit union products and services while adhering to established service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to all member communications promptly and courteously.
  • Collaborate with members to identify and meet their needs.
  • Facilitate the opening of various account types, including checking and savings accounts.
  • Process consumer loan applications and coordinate with loan officers.
  • Resolve complex inquiries regarding credit union accounts and services.
  • Engage with members for special projects as needed.
  • Alert management to any service issues while monitoring call volume.
  • Achieve individual and team service objectives.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with a minimum of one year in customer service.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and quick numerical skills.
  • Proficient in basic business communication.
  • Familiarity with MS Windows and MS Office.
  • Experience in a call center or banking environment is preferred.
  • Flexible availability for various shifts.

Compensation
Our compensation structure considers various factors, including skills, experience, and organizational needs. Typically, new hires are not placed at the top of the salary range, which is estimated between $53,000 and $60,000.
