Job Overview:

MEI is in search of a Technical Recruiter to enhance our team. This position is crucial for identifying and attracting exceptional talent to support our innovative projects within the construction and data center industries. The ideal candidate will exhibit outstanding communication abilities, a sharp eye for talent, and a strong desire to nurture collaborative relationships both within our team and with our clients. This role is based in Phoenix, Arizona.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to comprehend staffing requirements and formulate effective recruitment strategies.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of candidate resumes, assessing qualifications, skills, and experiences.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and cultural compatibility.
  • Oversee the complete recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to negotiating offers and facilitating onboarding.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals and networks to broaden talent pipelines.
  • Offer guidance and support to candidates throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to refine recruitment processes and enhance the candidate experience.
  • Represent MEI at industry-specific recruiting events, career fairs, and conferences to connect with potential candidates and stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in talent acquisition.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical recruitment, ideally within the engineering or construction sectors.
  • Solid understanding of recruitment principles, techniques, and best practices.
  • Self-driven, adaptable to ambiguity, and eager to collaborate as part of a team.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in recruiting for positions in construction, electrical engineering, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with technical tools and software used in engineering projects.
  • Certifications in HR or recruitment-related areas.
  • Knowledge of ADP systems.
