The University Relations Recruitment Leader at TSMC Arizona plays a pivotal role in the Talent Acquisition team, reporting directly to the Senior Manager. This position is essential for crafting and executing innovative recruitment initiatives aimed at attracting exceptional talent from various educational institutions, including high schools, colleges, universities, and STEM-focused programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a robust campus relations strategy that aligns with TSMC's overall talent acquisition objectives.
- Foster and nurture relationships with educational institutions, faculty members, and student organizations to position TSMC as a top employer of choice.
- Collaborate with TSMC headquarters and local business teams to plan and execute engaging on-campus and virtual recruiting events, such as career fairs and networking sessions.
- Identify and connect with high-potential candidates through interviews and work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure a smooth hiring process and an excellent experience for both candidates and hiring teams.
- Lead the internship program, overseeing all aspects from recruitment and onboarding to engagement and exit processes, ensuring a positive experience for interns.
- Utilize data analytics and recruitment metrics to monitor progress, drive operational enhancements, and support team development.
- Assess and report on the success of campus relations efforts, focusing on metrics like candidate pipeline, quality of hire, and time-to-fill.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in campus recruiting to continuously refine TSMC's approach.
- Mentor team members to deliver exceptional experiences for candidates, hiring managers, and cross-functional partners.
- Undertake additional talent acquisition projects or tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience in human resources, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in campus relations and recruitment.
- Proven leadership and coaching abilities that foster high performance and talent development.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building rapport with key stakeholders and partners.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage metrics and insights for informed decision-making.
- Excellent collaboration, organizational, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated capability to enhance processes, efficiency, and overall candidate experience.
- Experience thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires adaptability and innovation.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Willingness to travel domestically as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a global technology organization, particularly within the electronics manufacturing sector.
- Familiarity with managing third-party vendors.
