Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Substation Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of substation initiatives, ensuring seamless coordination with utility partners. This position entails managing substations that involve high and medium voltage electrical distribution, particularly for data center environments. Effective collaboration with both internal teams and external stakeholders is essential for successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main liaison for stakeholders, providing timely project updates and managing design timelines.
  • Support clients, design teams, and construction personnel throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the design process, ensuring that client specifications are fulfilled.
  • Facilitate project meetings, maintain comprehensive project plans, and identify potential risks.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create detailed drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate efforts with vendors, design teams, and manufacturers to ensure project alignment.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, ideally in Substation Engineering Design for Data Centers.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and proficiency in leading effective meetings.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and mentor team members.
  • Self-driven with outstanding communication skills and proficiency in relevant software applications.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Possession of a PE License and PMP Certification is preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is advantageous.
  • Experience with high and medium voltage power distribution systems.
