The Role

As the Senior Vice President of Operations, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead the implementation of corporate operational strategies, ensuring the effective execution of production processes to exceed strategic objectives and customer expectations.
  • Oversee critical functions such as Production, Maintenance, R&D, Industrialization, Scheduling, Logistics, Warehousing, and Sourcing/Purchasing across operations in the U.S. and Mexico.
  • Plan and execute the launch of a new manufacturing facility in Mexico, showcasing your project management and collaboration skills.
  • Drive strategic enhancements, standardization, and modularity to boost efficiency and productivity.
  • Encourage a culture of innovation, developing new products and technologies aligned with global market trends.
  • Utilize data from machinery controls to enhance process improvements and optimize production results.
  • Support growth strategies by evaluating and integrating potential mergers and acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with the parent company to align strategies and share best practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Our client seeks a seasoned leader in manufacturing operations with a proven track record in managing complex processes, ensuring energy efficiency, and maintaining product reliability.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations within an industrial setting.
  • Experience in industries such as refrigeration, HVAC, food and beverage equipment manufacturing, cold chain logistics, and more.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a strategic outlook, fostering innovation and driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management skills for effective teamwork.
  • Proven history of implementing continuous improvement initiatives, with certifications like Green Belt or Black Belt being highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with programs such as SAP and Industry 4.0 technologies is a significant advantage.
  • Strong team-building and mentoring skills.
  • Willingness to engage in some international travel.
