Senior Vice President of Operations - Manufacturing

As a pivotal member of the executive leadership team, the Senior Vice President of Operations will take charge of formulating strategies, policies, and executing strategic initiatives along with achieving financial and non-financial objectives. Utilizing innovative methods in business development, technical integration, and strategic planning, the ideal candidate will implement sustainable solutions tailored for the federal government and government affairs sector. Collaboration with diverse teams is crucial to ensure operational strategies align with overarching business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with both internal and external project stakeholders.
  • Oversee communications, reporting, and interactions with relevant entities.
  • Address complex inter-team dependencies and enhance technical system management.
  • Lead project planning, define milestones, and allocate financial resources effectively.
  • Create, monitor, and drive the critical path while managing risks, dependencies, and decision-making processes impacting the project.
  • Communicate project achievements, timelines, priorities, challenges, and overall project health to all organizational levels.
  • Oversee project expenditures, capitalization, and tax credit reporting.
  • Develop and disseminate impactful automated reporting systems.
  • Promote customer-centric methodologies to design educational experiences.
  • Lead a proficient team, establishing project structure, partnerships, and the overall educational framework of programming.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7+ years of experience in technical project management.
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and global manufacturing practices.
  • Experience in grant accounting and financial management, particularly with government grants.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong leadership and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's or Ph.D. preferred).

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience.
  • Strong expertise in corporate policy, operations, strategy, and growth.
  • Experience in global defense and security mission customer relations.
  • Proven track record managing programs and P&L exceeding $20-40M in revenue.
  • Experience in building and scaling teams and systems.
  • Extensive knowledge in supporting the development of large-scale projects and deliverables.
  • Experience in government or federal consulting.
  • Proficient in collaborating with senior-level executives.
  • Experience in fostering external partnerships across the federal government and industry.
  • Possession of Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certifications.
