About the Position

This is a full-time, limited duration position currently funded through June 30, 2025. Continuation beyond that date is subject to available funding.

As a Court Operations Specialist - Records Management, you will perform moderate to complex case processing tasks on behalf of the court. These tasks may involve court records such as those related to Set Aside/Expungement, cases for which an appeal has been filed, hard copy documents needing to be digitized and placed in an electronic case file, and documents ready for destruction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify case information through research and cross-referencing from outside agencies.
  • Identify issues in case processing and correct to ensure proper treatment.
  • Enter and retrieve data and update records.
  • Handle, log, and safeguard exhibits submitted during trial.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Four (4) years of responsible administrative experience in a moderately complex office or business setting demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for this position.
  • Experience using a computer to perform a variety of tasks and to manage and maintain electronic records.
  • Experience managing workload and ability to follow all steps in an established process.
  • Experience ensuring the accuracy and completeness of forms, memos, or other documents.
  • Experience routing and tracking documents to others and determining next steps in a process.
Working Conditions
  • This is a full-time position, and the work schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • Occasional after-hours or overtime work may be required.
  • Frequent phone and in-person contact with people from diverse backgrounds.
