The Area Loss Prevention Specialist will be responsible for conducting surveillances, apprehending and detaining shoplifters, and assisting in ORC investigations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for documenting criminal acts, building solid criminal cases, and testifying in court. Additionally, the Area Loss Prevention Specialist will conduct safety, shrink, and physical security audits, and provide all other Loss Prevention functions. The ideal candidate will have a valid OR driver's license, reliable transportation, and a professional, courteous, and calm attitude. The successful candidate will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of local and state laws, and be at least 18 years old. Preference will be given to applicants with at least three years of loss prevention experience, but all applications are welcome. The Area Loss Prevention Specialist will be required to work weekends, after hours, and occasional out of town and overnight work.
