Senior Manager of Utilization and Revenue Optimization

NYC Health + Hospitals is seeking a skilled professional to serve as Senior Manager of Utilization and Revenue Optimization. In this role, you will promote system-wide awareness of managed care contractual terms and regulatory policies, with a special emphasis on impacts to managed care and utilization management. You will develop and maintain efficient tools and methods for tracking revenue opportunities and implementing system-wide utilization management operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain tools to track changing federal and state regulatory landscapes around utilization management
- Collaborate with Post-Acute staff to enhance knowledge of health plan provisions and negotiation activities
- Inventory health information exchange set ups with contracted managed care payers to identify existing gaps impacting inpatient encounters
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline with an emphasis on accounting and financial systems
- 2 years of responsible-level experience in fiscal management or administration with an emphasis on financial systems, management information and controls
Estimated Salary: $95,000 - $115,000 per year
Benefits: Retirement Savings and Pension Plans, Paid Holidays and Vacation in accordance with employees' Collectively bargained contracts
