The role involves supporting the cybersecurity strategy and aiding in the delivery of secure systems, cyber solutions, cyber applications, technical initiatives, and compliance with regulatory and risk standards. This encompasses cybersecurity frameworks, engineering innovative technologies, optimizing programs, addressing vulnerabilities, reporting metrics, analyzing performance, and mitigating operational risks in a fast-paced environment. The position requires support for intricate project endeavors, conducting advanced analyses, making timely decisions, collaborating with IT/Business/Audit teams, documenting issues/reports, investigating cases or designing solutions, adhering to architectural guidelines, engineering solutions to enhance the cyber strategy, mitigating risks, providing solutions to IT teams, and coordinating the implementation of these solutions or applying Standards/Audit requirements to ensure compliance in security infrastructure and technology implementations. Proactively manage and escalate risks and customer-impacting issues in daily operations to management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interprets technological directives and evaluates Cybersecurity systems by leveraging professional systems knowledge, specialized security training, and advanced analytical methodologies. Designs new systems in accordance with architectural guidelines and performs continuous integration. Conducts research and testing on scanning tools and develops comparative studies utilizing security systems, professional expertise, and systems analysis techniques. Tests defense technologies prior to deployment to assess feasibility for integration. Engineers Cybersecurity and data analytics solutions, including conducting vendor technology evaluations. Supports current and future architectural models to evaluate impacts across assigned Cybersecurity technology systems.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to establish security policies and controls for AI systems.
  • Develops comprehensive threat models for cloud services, enabling the deployment of machine learning (ML) models.
  • Partners with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of security best practices into AI systems.
  • Assesses Cybersecurity technology capabilities and specifications to identify enhancement opportunities by applying professional systems knowledge, specialized security training, and advanced analytical techniques. Conducts ongoing evaluations of team and program activities to pinpoint areas for improvement. Ensures adherence to audit, regulatory, and legal standards. Cultivates and maintains effective relationships with peers and internal business partners. Serves as the point of contact for escalating engineering, security solutions, and/or advanced analytics tools. Must make prompt decisions to prevent outages and ensure high system availability.
  • Utilizes professional knowledge, engineering studies, and specialized security vendor training to evaluate threats to infrastructure and vulnerabilities of systems to create a security-risk profile. Supports mitigation and countermeasure strategies based on collected threat intelligence, employing enterprise-wide, complex analytical systems.
  • Stays informed about security trends, threats, and attack methodologies. Applies professional knowledge, engineering studies, and specialized security vendor training to utilize Cybersecurity solutions, analyze events to mitigate risks, and achieve remediation.

Minimum Qualifications:

To qualify, you should possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Information Security, Application Security, Security Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

In addition, we would value:

  • Proven experience with scripting, coding, and automation (e.g., Python, shell scripting).
  • Familiarity with Cloud architecture and securing cloud communications (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Understanding of threat modeling frameworks, such as MITRE ATT&CK/MITRE ATLAS, etc.
  • Knowledge of access control systems, PKI, multi-factor authentication, and entitlements management.
  • Awareness of AIML security standards.
