Position Overview:
The HR Generalist serves a vital role within the Human Resources department, operating under the guidance of the Senior HR Manager.

The HR Generalist will undertake responsibilities across several key areas:

  • Manage administrative tasks, onboarding processes, and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) administration.
  • Facilitate reporting and collaborate with extended HR Centers of Excellence.
  • Assist in addressing and resolving standard employee relations inquiries related to various HR topics.

The role includes answering inquiries regarding HR policies and programs, which may encompass:

  • Recruitment
  • Compensation and benefits
  • Training and development
  • Employee and labor relations
  • Safety protocols
  • Personnel research

The HR Generalist will also:

  • Analyze employment-related data and prepare necessary reports.
  • Support the administration of performance evaluations for employees.
  • Conduct various onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Compile raw data into actionable reports for the HR team.
  • Respond to general inquiries received through the HR Mailbox.
  • Provide additional assistance to HR Business Partners, including preparing charts, presentations, and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Act on behalf of HR Business Partners during their absence.
  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence to update the knowledge base and disseminate information within Shared Services.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist, with at least 1 year focused on Employee Relations in a dynamic team environment.
  • Familiarity with commonly used concepts, best practices, and procedures within Human Resources.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Enterprise-wide information systems, particularly HRIS.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Effective planning and organizational abilities.
  • Availability to work 3 days a week, 8 hours per day, including Fridays.
