Job Description:
Effectively challenges the status quo across the organization to ensure the appropriate management of risk. This individual is an active participant in evaluating the Cybersecurity roadmap, ensure the security of systems and applications. This includes Cybersecurity framework, program optimization, evaluation of appropriate control implementation and configuration, vulnerability remediation, metrics reporting, performance analysis and mitigation of operational risk. Requires high-level critical thinking to perform duties related to projects, compliance, metrics, assurance, vulnerabilities, or threats. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs in-depth analysis of security issues and/or vulnerabilities. Ensures compliance to audit, regulatory and legal requirements
  • Advise business and technology teams concerning information security risks and compensating controls that balance risk with project implementation.
  • Provide guidance on information security requirements for Third Parties, business partners or vendors. Identify inherent information security risks resulting from business operations.
  • Manage Information Security risk acceptance requests are adequately documented, approved and tracked.
  • Reframe the way business partners view information security in their business and promote it as a value proposition. Providing alternative options to business partners by translating emerging IT and business trends into risks and opportunities.


Qualifications You'll Need
The Basics

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Security and Intelligence, Computer Science, or Business
  • 6+ years of experience in Information Security, Computer Science, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field
  • In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of experience in Information Security, Computer Science, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field


Bonus Points If You Have

  • 8+ years of experience in Information Security, Computer Science, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field
  • ISC2, GIAC, CompTIA, ISACA, or similar

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $75,500.00 to $127, Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
