Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer III to join our team at Applied Materials. As a key member of our installation and maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading our cutting-edge semiconductor equipment at customer sites around the globe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and commission new equipment, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Collaborate with customers to resolve technical issues and provide expert support
  • Train junior engineers on site-related safety procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and customer-centric best practices
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or equivalent technical certification
  • 4-7 years of experience in the semiconductor industry or related field
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, and thermodynamics
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel up to 90% of the time, with occasional international assignments
