As a Housekeeping Room Specialist at Martin Resorts, your primary responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of guest accommodations and communal areas, adhering to the highest standards of service.

You will work collaboratively with your colleagues, demonstrating a commitment to fulfilling all duties while providing exceptional customer service and fostering positive interactions with fellow team members.

The ideal candidate will proactively follow directives from management and adhere to safety protocols to enhance the overall guest experience.


Key Responsibilities:

Deliver a warm welcome to all guests and visitors, ensuring responsive, friendly, and courteous service through effective communication and a helpful attitude.

Conduct regular inspections of facilities to guarantee that cleanliness, safety, and property specifications are consistently met and maintained.

Prepare guest rooms for cleaning at designated times.
During the cleaning process, handle room and guest belongings with care and respect.
Make beds and change linens as required.
Restock guest room supplies and replenish bathroom amenities.
Thoroughly clean bathrooms and closets.
Vacuum and tidy carpets.
Follow security protocols when entering and exiting rooms, ensuring they are secured upon departure.
Promptly document or report any lost items to the Executive Housekeeper, maintaining an accurate inventory of such items.
Maintain cleanliness in public areas to ensure a pleasant experience for all guests.
Keep housekeeping carts organized and stocked throughout the day to facilitate efficient cleaning operations.

Comply with all hotel policies and procedures while executing tasks and responsibilities, ensuring excellent customer service and operational efficiency.

Adhere to OSHA safety regulations, demonstrating an understanding of specific policies and procedures.

Contribute to the safety of the property through risk management practices, regular inspections, participation in safety committees, and knowledge of emergency protocols.

Follow established safety procedures as outlined in your role.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Compensation:
$17 per hour

Experience and Qualifications:
Preferred one year of experience in housekeeping

Physical Demands:


The essential physical requirements for this position include, but are not limited to: Ability to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds frequently to assist guests; Ability to stand for extended periods; Effective oral and written communication skills to interact with staff, vendors, and guests; Capability to bend, twist, push, pull, stoop, and kneel; Ability to ascend and descend ladders.
