Position Overview

Venice Suites is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to enhance our hospitality team. The Room Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring that guest accommodations are impeccably maintained and reflect our commitment to quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow established cleaning protocols to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff.
  • Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a warm and welcoming demeanor while delivering personalized service to guests.
  • Effectively communicate with guests and team members to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Thoroughly clean guest rooms to meet company standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
  • Complete cleaning tasks within the timeframes set by management.
  • Adhere to company policies regarding room amenities and inventory.
  • Promptly report any items left behind in guest rooms to management.
  • Ensure the security of master room keys and return them at the end of each shift.
  • Report maintenance issues that require immediate attention.
  • Assist with laundry duties as needed.
  • Communicate any lost or found items to the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Support fellow team members and other departments to promote overall departmental success.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements:

The role requires frequent walking, climbing stairs, and performing various physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and carrying items up to 20 lbs. Exposure to cleaning agents is expected.

Experience:

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
