We are seeking a Product Evaluation Technician to enhance our dynamic team.

Position Summary

The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct product evaluations, ensuring compliance with client specifications. Exceptional customer service is paramount, with a focus on timely completion of Certificates of Analysis and effective communication with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with product evaluation clients to ensure satisfaction through outstanding service and adherence to turnaround times.
  • Manage product orders and coordinate pickups from distribution centers.
  • Generate Certificates of Analysis and accurately report critical data.
  • Execute data transfers while complying with client specifications.
  • Utilize aseptic techniques in daily operations.
  • Monitor and report on expendable supplies and materials necessary for testing.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance, including cleaning and sanitizing work areas.
  • Independently follow established processes and procedures in line with company policies and client requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment, ensuring proper handling of equipment and accurate record-keeping.
  • Share information promptly and transparently.
  • Conduct product evaluations according to detailed specifications as required.
  • Assist in managing priorities and schedules to achieve both individual and team objectives.
  • Ensure personal safety and the safety of colleagues in the work area.
  • Complete all required training in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Familiarity with aseptic sampling techniques and industry-standard methods.
  • Comprehensive understanding of food safety concepts and practices.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
Physical Requirements
  • Regularly required to stand, sit, walk, and use hands and arms.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive reaching.
  • Color vision and depth perception are necessary.
  • Must be able to tolerate heat and operate commercial kitchen appliances.
  • Potential exposure to various odors, fumes, and hazardous materials.
  • Noise levels may vary from quiet to loud.
  • Work environment may fluctuate in temperature.
  • Engage in interactive and fast-paced team-oriented tasks.
