With exceptional communication, creativity, and analytical capabilities, the ideal candidate will utilize data-driven insights about consumers and the market to formulate strategies for brand and product innovation, multi-channel distribution, and impactful communication tactics aimed at achieving sustainable and profitable growth for our brands at both national and local levels. The Brand Marketing Manager will be a collaborative team player and leader, working across various functions to ensure organizational and operational coherence in delivering consistent and authentic brand experiences for our consumers in a fast-evolving and expanding organization. This position offers the potential for direct leadership opportunities as our organization continues to grow.
This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence 2 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and oversee annual brand strategies in collaboration with the Senior Brand Lead and Green Thumb's long-term strategic vision, encompassing brand positioning, product strategy, consumer and trade communications, promotions, and new product innovation.
- Investigate the media landscape within the cannabis sector and initiate innovative communication programs to elevate our brands.
- Establish and guide the new product development process by creating innovations and extensions that are groundbreaking, consumer-driven, and profitable.
- Oversee internal creative teams and external agencies, while collaborating with regional, local, and retail marketing teams to craft top-tier marketing campaigns, promotions, and partnerships.
- Coordinate all new product introductions and launches with cross-functional teams, including creative, sales, retail, and operations (go-to-market messaging, digital/trade resources, training, PR).
- Support consumer and trade communications and promotions, ensuring alignment with sales, retail, field marketing, and partners.
- Establish and monitor brand budgets and key performance indicators to ensure brand health and growth objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in brand management within the CPG sector.
- Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration to translate brand strategies into actionable company behaviors and communications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Experience working collaboratively with operations, finance, and sales teams.
- Experience in directing and collaborating with internal and external partners (e.g., brand strategy, package design, research, and promotional agencies) for brand development and execution.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead effective cross-functional teams.
- Proven success in an early-stage or rapidly growing business environment.
- Must successfully pass all required background checks.
- Must remain compliant with all legal and company regulations pertinent to the industry.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
