Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management
    • Manage mid to large size construction projects, ensuring timely completion, quality results, and adherence to safety protocols.
    • Develop and implement project schedules, site logistics, and client schedule commitments.
  • Safety and Risk Management
    • Lead the consistent practice of Bouten's Safety Culture, ensuring daily inspections, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA's), Pre-Task Planning, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA's) are standard operating procedures.
    • Address lack of accountability or alignment to Bouten's Safety Culture quickly and appropriately.
  • Leadership and Communication
    • Recruit, mentor, develop, and retain top-notch Foremen and tradespeople.
    • Mentor and develop Foremen and Craft Labor in their career growth.
    • Champion company initiatives and communications to field teams on a consistent and regular basis.
    • Manage conflict well, finding the cause of issues and providing prompt solutions.
    • Address performance issues decisively and objectively.
  • Qualifications
    • Union member with a high school diploma and completed an apprenticeship or equivalent.
    • 5 years' experience as a commercial general construction superintendent experience required.
    • Health Care, K-12, and higher education experience is preferred as well as alternate delivery (GC/CM, Design-build, etc.).
    • Lean construction experience desired.
    • Project size > $50K - $50M.
    • Certificates/Licenses – valid driver's license.
    • Demonstrated leadership, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
    • Diverse project experience.
    • Detail-oriented and strong follow-up skills.
    • Self-motivated and passionate about delivering exceptional client service.
    • Procore, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    What We Offer
    • Salary Range: $104,000- $175,000.
