Job Title: IT Support Specialist I

At Perry Homes, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist I to join our team. As an IT Support Specialist I, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our corporate, sales, and construction users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support on-site, over the phone, via email, or by utilizing remote assistance tools.
  • Troubleshoot and report outages to internet service providers while staying in communication with the Service Desk team.
  • Set up computers for deployment using company-approved configurations.
  • Perform computer repairs, correct printing and scanning issues, and address network outages with critical deadlines.
  • Provide technical support for in-house applications and services, as well as industry-leading software programs.
  • Participate in hardware and software rollout projects, planning and coordinating with the rest of the department.
  • Assess the severity of network problems and communicate with the Service Desk team and management as necessary.
  • Provide new hires with basic introductions to hardware and software.
  • Assist users in familiarizing themselves with network resources.
  • Assist with auditing and managing computer equipment and network-related infrastructure.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree in IT or a related field preferred.
  • 3 years of relevant IT experience required.
  • Understanding of IT Helpdesk practices with a strong emphasis on customer service.
  • Extensive knowledge of computer hardware, software, and basic networking.
  • Understanding of network wiring and small office network configurations.
  • Experience working with Active Directory, managing user accounts and access.
  • Extensive knowledge of computer hardware and repairs.
  • Support experience with Autodesk productions, Adobe products, and HP, Xerox, and Sharp copiers.
  • Demonstrated computer skills, including a working knowledge of MS Office products.
  • Current, valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
