Executive Sales Director

ROLE OBJECTIVE: The Director of Retail Sales is a pivotal executive-track position responsible for driving sales across a multi-brand retail environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to demonstrate visionary leadership, strategic thinking, and business acumen – essential qualities for future C-suite executives. The ideal candidate will not only excel in current responsibilities in sales, but also showcase the potential to ascend to the highest levels of corporate leadership.
This is an on-site position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Exceed sales goals through innovative strategies, demonstrating the ability to drive company-wide growth and profitability.
2. Implement cutting-edge talent acquisition and development programs, showcasing skills in building high-performance teams crucial for enterprise-wide success.
3. Cultivate a dynamic, positive, results-driven culture that can be scaled across the entire organization, embodying the vision and values of a future CEO.
4. Support & further extraordinary customer service initiatives company-wide, elevating brand perception and customer loyalty.
5. Develop and implement performance metrics and motivational systems that drive exceptional results, demonstrating the ability to inspire and lead teams.
6. Collaborate with company President to align store operations with broader company strategies, showcasing cross-functional leadership abilities.
7. Spearhead innovative marketing campaigns and brand-building initiatives, demonstrating the capacity to shape company direction and market positioning.
8. Design and execute comprehensive training programs that can be scaled organization-wide, showcasing the ability to drive company-wide talent development.
9. Implement robust loss prevention strategies that can be adopted across all company locations, demonstrating a keen understanding of risk management.
10. Optimize resource allocation and cost management, showcasing financial acumen essential for top-level executive roles.
11. Develop and implement performance evaluation systems that can be scaled across the organization, demonstrating the ability to drive accountability and results at all levels.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's degree required, MBA or related advanced degree preferred
2. 5+ years of high-volume retail management experience with a track record of consistent promotion and increasing responsibilities
3. Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive significant business growth
4. Exceptional leadership skills with a history of mentoring teams
5. Demonstrated success in implementing innovative solutions to complex business challenges
6. Strong financial acumen and experience in P&L management
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of representing the company as required
8. Visionary mindset with the ability to anticipate and shape industry trends
9. Proven ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships both internally and externally
10. Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development
