Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Expert to join our global team at Expeditors. As a key member of our Cybersecurity Team, you will play a critical role in protecting our data and our customers' information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance security operations tools and processes to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.
  • Develop and implement solutions to protect our data from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network security across all branches to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Respond to security incidents worldwide, conducting thorough investigations and implementing corrective actions.
  • Conduct risk assessments using threat modeling to identify potential security vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Research and recommend cybersecurity systems and procedures to stay ahead of emerging threats.
  • Design and deploy security infrastructure to ensure the security and integrity of our data.
  • Train team members and promote security awareness to ensure a culture of security within the organization.
Requirements:
  • Experience with EDR tools and SIEM solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Information Technology and cybersecurity principles.
  • Passionate about cybersecurity and committed to staying up-to-date with the latest threats and technologies.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Knowledge of Firewalls, Proxy, and VPN devices, as well as operating systems and network security.
  • Prior experience in investigating cybersecurity incidents and developing strategies to prevent future occurrences.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with security automation solutions and a strong understanding of cybersecurity standards and practices.
