Role Overview:

We are in search of a proficient and seasoned IT Systems Monitoring Supervisor to lead the strategy, execution, and upkeep of our organization's network, systems, security, and application surveillance. The IT Systems Monitoring Supervisor will be instrumental in guaranteeing the dependability, security, and peak performance of our network, security systems, and applications. This position requires managing a team of network and security professionals while working in tandem with various departments to provide uninterrupted monitoring services.

Network Operations Management:

  • Establish and oversee the organization's network operations center, which includes tools for network, security, and application monitoring.

Performance Management:

  • Continuously assess network performance and proactively resolve issues to ensure maximum uptime, minimal latency, and effective resource utilization.

Security Protocols:

  • Develop and enforce network security measures and best practices to protect sensitive information, deter unauthorized access, and reduce potential security risks.

Leadership and Development:

  • Guide and nurture a team of network monitoring specialists, offering mentorship, training, and performance assessments to maintain high technical proficiency and operational effectiveness.

Recruitment:

Incident Management:

  • Analyze and resolve intricate IT incidents, determining root causes and implementing solutions to avert future issues.

Monitoring Documentation:

  • Ensure comprehensive and current documentation of monitoring tool setups, diagrams, processes, and procedures to promote knowledge sharing and troubleshooting.

Business Continuity Planning:

  • Engage in business continuity strategies to guarantee the resilience of IT systems and the availability of data during disruptions.

Collaborative Efforts:

  • Work closely with various teams, including Infrastructure, security, and applications, to align monitoring strategies with organizational goals and support the integration of new tools and applications.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry developments, and best practices to continually improve the organization's network capabilities.

Qualifications include an Associate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
