We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Nurse Midwife to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team at Newton Medical Center in Northern New Jersey.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in patient assessments, diagnosis of health status, and development of care plans and treatment implementation.
- Perform obstetrical and gynecological care/procedures, attend to patients throughout the course of labor, and monitor fetal condition.
- Provide hospital-based postpartum care, perform routine gynecological care, and assist with family planning and reproductive health counseling.
- Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board.
- Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) or eligible for licensure in New Jersey.
- BLS certification required.
- 3-5 years' experience preferred.
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently.
