Role Overview:

The Cannabis Cultivation Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing all aspects of the cultivation process at Glass Meadows. This position is responsible for ensuring that cannabis plants are cultivated under ideal conditions while adhering to the company's quality standards. The supervisor will lead cultivation teams, optimize processes, and implement technologies to enhance productivity and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management: Direct the daily functions of the cultivation facility, ensuring optimal management of plant care activities such as nutrient delivery, irrigation systems, lighting schedules, and environmental controls.
  • Team Management: Supervise, mentor, and guide team leaders and technicians throughout various cultivation phases, from seedling to harvest. Ensure adherence to operational standards and safety protocols.
  • Quality Assurance: Enforce rigorous quality assurance protocols throughout the cultivation process to guarantee the consistency and excellence of cannabis production.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with all applicable state and local regulations. Keep detailed records of cultivation activities, including pesticide usage, plant counts, and harvest metrics.
  • Resource Coordination: Oversee the distribution of supplies, equipment, and personnel to maximize efficiency and productivity in the cultivation process.
  • Innovation and Enhancement: Introduce new technologies and methodologies to boost plant health and yield. Stay updated on the latest advancements in cannabis cultivation and research.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve cultivation challenges, including pest management, nutrient deficiencies, and disease outbreaks.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in a commercial cannabis or agricultural production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of plant biology, soil science, and the specific needs of cannabis cultivation.
  • Demonstrated leadership and managerial capabilities.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
