About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Industrial Hygienist to join our team at Atlas. As a key member of our environmental, health and safety consulting firm, you will be responsible for managing industrial hygiene projects, supervising field staff, and providing quality assurance and quality control of deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage industrial hygiene projects scope, schedule, budget, staff, and subcontractors for existing public and private sector clients.
  • Quality Assurance/Quality Control: Provide quality assurance/quality control during the preparation of technical proposals and reports.
  • Field Supervision: Supervise field work and mentor junior staff.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Act as liaison and advocate for clients with environmental regulatory agencies.
  • Health and Safety: Implement Atlas' health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: B.S. degree in industrial hygiene, occupational health and safety, public health or related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership and client management skills, effective technical writing, strong oral communication, presentation and time management skills.
  • Experience: At least 10+ years of industrial hygiene experience with 3+ years of direct responsibility managing projects, supervising field staff, providing QA/QC of deliverables, and assisting with business development.
  • Certifications: AHERA Asbestos certifications required, Washington Lead Inspector/Assessor certification a plus, 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification, M.S. degree a plus, Certified Safety Professional (CSP) a plus, Certified Industrial Hygiene (CIH) a plus.
