Key ResponsibilitiesSummary: This role involves directly overseeing food-service personnel in alignment with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Conduct training for team members; plan, assign, and oversee tasks; evaluate performance; recognize and address issues; and resolve conflicts.
- Communicate purchasing needs to management, focusing on waste reduction and preventing shortages.
- Utilize approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality, appropriate serving temperatures, and portion control.
- Maintain and clean equipment following departmental protocols after each use.
- Store, label, and date food items according to established guidelines; ensure proper food rotation to minimize spoilage.
- Adhere to HACCP standards to guarantee the safety and quality of food supplies.
- Operate food-service equipment safely and in accordance with established procedures.
- Assist in meal service; be present during meal times to gather customer feedback.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
