Your Role:
As a Family Clinician, you will play a pivotal role in fostering the well-being of youth and their families. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering direct therapeutic services to children and families, ensuring effective supervision and observation.
  • Collaborating with community providers and educational teams to offer clinical insights.
  • Providing crisis intervention on school grounds and within the community, including home visits.
  • Facilitating case management and connecting families to essential resources.
  • Meeting productivity standards while managing an appropriate caseload.
  • Documenting all interactions, including progress notes and treatment plans, in a timely manner.
  • Assessing the needs of students and families, formulating psychosocial diagnoses, and determining suitable treatment methods.
  • Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans based on outcome measures.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all client-related activities in accordance with quality assurance standards.
  • Engaging in clinical supervision and being open to constructive feedback.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, families, and community members.
  • Staying informed about program standards and policies, and enhancing professional knowledge through continuous education.
  • Upholding confidentiality regarding client information and agency operations.
  • Embodying the agency's mission and values in all aspects of your work.
  • Maintaining professionalism in all interactions with clients and stakeholders.
  • Exercising sound judgment in your responsibilities.
  • Participating in required training sessions and staff meetings.
  • Adhering to the agency's mission, vision, and values while serving as a role model.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
To excel in this position, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • Certification in Evidence-Based Practices such as MAP, TF-CBT, or SS.
  • Experience with state and county licensing regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and electronic medical records.
  • Strong understanding of child, adolescent, and family development.
  • A valid California Driver's License and proof of automobile insurance.
  • Fluency in Farsi.
