Key Responsibilities:

The Physical Therapist (PT, DPT, RPT) is tasked with assessing and evaluating patient care requirements concerning mobility, endurance, pain management, and other health conditions. Based on these evaluations, the Physical Therapist formulates a tailored treatment strategy, implements interventions aimed at enhancing the patient's quality of life, and monitors their progress.

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical therapy needs and functional capabilities, collaborating with physicians to establish effective therapy plans.
  • Monitor and document patients' responses to treatment, reporting any significant changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
  • Administer therapeutic interventions to alleviate pain, restore function, and maintain optimal physical capabilities, adhering to established best practices.
  • Educate and inform all members of the healthcare team, as well as patients and their families/caregivers, regarding the care plan, functional limitations, and progress towards treatment goals.

Qualifications:

Licensure Requirements:

  • Active Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey
  • Current CPR certification
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation
