About You:
You are an empathetic leader with exceptional relationship-building abilities, dedicated to fostering partnerships with staff, clients, families, and the broader community. You possess strong problem-solving skills and can establish rapport with clients and families from diverse backgrounds.

Your Role in Supporting Youth:
As a Family Clinician, you will:

  1. Deliver direct clinical services and therapeutic interventions to youth and families, monitored through supervision and direct observation.
  2. Collaborate with community providers and school teams to provide clinical insights and feedback.
  3. Offer crisis intervention to youth and families within school environments and the community, including home visits.
  4. Facilitate case management and connect families to essential services and resources.
  5. Adhere to productivity standards and maintain an appropriate caseload to meet service hour expectations.
  6. Submit timely documentation, including progress notes, assessments, and treatment plans, in accordance with established policies.
  7. Continuously evaluate the needs and symptoms of students and families, formulating psychosocial diagnoses and determining suitable treatment methods.
  8. Assess client progress regularly and adjust treatment plans based on outcome measures.
  9. Document all interactions with clients and families accurately, in line with quality assurance standards.
  10. Engage in clinical supervision, prepared to discuss your caseload and documentation, while being open to constructive feedback.
  11. Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, families, and the community, while working collaboratively within the agency.
  12. Stay informed about program standards and policies, enhancing your professional knowledge through workshops and publications.
  13. Ensure confidentiality regarding clients and agency operations at all times.
  14. Incorporate the agency's philosophy and mission into all aspects of your work.
  15. Maintain professionalism in all interactions with clients, staff, and external stakeholders.
  16. Exercise sound judgment in fulfilling your responsibilities.
  17. Participate in required training sessions and staff meetings.
  18. Promote the mission, vision, and values of Villages of California while serving as a role model for others.
  19. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications for Success:
To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • Certification in Evidence-Based Practices such as MAP, TF-CBT, or SS is preferred.
  • Experience with state and county licensing regulations and other governing bodies is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to utilize electronic medical records.
  • Fluency in Farsi.
  • Understanding of child, adolescent, and adult development, as well as family systems.
  • A valid California Driver's License, proof of automobile insurance, and a safe driving record.
  • Ability to establish and maintain appropriate boundaries with clients.
