Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist (PT, DPT, RPT) is accountable for assessing and evaluating patient care requirements related to mobility, endurance, pain management, and other health conditions. This role involves creating a tailored treatment plan, implementing interventions to enhance patient health, and monitoring progress.

  • Assess the patient's physical therapy needs and functional capabilities. Collaborate with the physician to formulate the therapy care plan.
  • Monitor and report the patient's response to therapy and any changes in their condition to the supervising nurse or physician.
  • Provide treatment aimed at alleviating pain, restoring function, and maintaining optimal physical performance using established best practices.
  • Educate and inform all members of the healthcare team, the patient, and their family/caregivers about the care plan, functional limitations, and progress towards rehabilitation goals.

Required Qualifications

Licensure Requirements

  • Active Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, along with access to a reliable vehicle
