Position Overview:

We are in search of a skilled and forward-thinking Paint Process Engineer to enhance our expanding team.

In this role, you will take charge of the development, implementation, and optimization of paint processes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency across our production lines.

You will engage with state-of-the-art technology and innovation, utilizing advanced machinery and robotics to propel continuous improvement and operational excellence.

This is a remarkable opportunity for an experienced engineer who thrives on problem-solving and possesses a robust background in the engineering sector.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and refine paint processes to guarantee quality, cost-efficiency, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to grasp product specifications and translate them into effective process parameters.
  • Perform root cause analysis on paint process challenges and devise corrective and preventive measures.
  • Work in conjunction with ABB Robotics to deploy automated painting systems and enhance existing processes.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing methodologies such as 5S and Kaizen.
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for paint processes.
  • Educate and mentor team members on paint process techniques and best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct process audits to verify compliance with standards and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Stay informed on the latest technologies and trends in paint processes and integrate them into operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Process Engineering, specifically in paint processes.
  • Expertise with ABB Robotics and automation systems.
  • Solid grasp of continuous improvement methodologies, including 5S and Kaizen.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in root cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Capability to train and mentor team members.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations within the paint industry.
  • Ability to keep abreast of the latest technologies and trends in paint processes.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software.
