Role Responsibilities

The Process Engineering Manager will act as a pivotal leader within the Process Engineering department, contributing to various cross-functional teams and providing strategic insights throughout the operations.

  • Lead the development and execution of manufacturing plans for new and existing models, ensuring compliance with quality, delivery, cost, and safety standards.
  • Oversee the training and development of engineering staff.
  • Manage the scheduling and installation of new plant equipment.
  • Facilitate milestone meetings and address any concerns that arise.
  • Develop and monitor budgets for new model programs, ensuring adherence to financial plans.
  • Establish and track departmental goals related to quality, cost, delivery, and safety.
  • Promote a positive work environment and employee relations.
  • Implement measures to reduce costs while maintaining quality performance.
  • Collaborate with operations to resolve quality issues effectively.
  • Lead a team of process engineers and coordinate with global engineering teams.
  • Administer shop floor management systems to enhance compliance and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor safety performance and proactively address safety concerns.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to achieve departmental KPIs.
  • Coordinate with engineering and design teams to enhance manufacturability and address quality concerns.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Previous supervisory experience with a focus on leadership and staff development.
  • Strong manufacturing knowledge, particularly in a technical automotive environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO manufacturing quality standards and environmental standards.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
