Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and innovative Permanent Paint Process Engineer to enhance our expanding workforce.

In this capacity, you will be tasked with the development, execution, and refinement of paint processes to guarantee optimal quality and efficiency in our manufacturing operations.

You will be at the cutting edge of technology and innovation, utilizing advanced machinery and robotics to foster ongoing enhancements and operational excellence.

This position presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer who thrives on problem-solving and possesses a robust background in the engineering sector.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, execute, and refine paint processes to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to comprehend product specifications and translate them into process parameters.
  • Perform root cause analysis for paint process challenges and devise corrective and preventive measures.
  • Work in close partnership with ABB Robotics to deploy automated painting systems and enhance existing solutions.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives utilizing methodologies such as 5S and Kaizen.
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for paint processes.
  • Educate and guide team members on paint process methodologies and best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards.
  • Lead and engage in process audits to verify compliance with standards and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Stay informed on the latest technologies and trends in paint processes and integrate them into operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Process Engineering, ideally within paint processes.
  • Expertise with ABB Robotics and automation technologies.
  • Strong grasp of continuous improvement methodologies, including 5S and Kaizen.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and capacity to conduct root cause analysis.
  • Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
  • Capability to educate and mentor team members.
  • Strong project management capabilities and the ability to juggle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations pertinent to the paint industry.
  • Ability to remain updated on the latest technologies and trends in paint processes.
  • Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software.
