Role Overview: As an Enterprise Print Systems Administrator, you will be instrumental in ensuring operational security today and smarter solutions for tomorrow. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting our intelligence customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain Windows print server infrastructure.
  • Manage print queues, drivers, and printer deployments across the organization.
  • Troubleshoot complex printing issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Configure and maintain print security policies and access controls.
  • Monitor print server performance and implement optimizations.
  • Plan and execute print server upgrades and migrations.
  • Implement print accounting and monitoring solutions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for print server configurations and processes.
  • Collaborate with network and system teams to ensure print infrastructure aligns with overall IT strategy.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on printing best practices.
  • Manage vendor relationships for printer hardware and software.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Windows server administration, focusing on print services.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and print management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy as it relates to printer deployment.
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP networking and printer protocols.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex printing issues.
  • Security+ certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • TS/SCI Clearance required and eligibility to obtain CI Poly.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to provide occasional after-hours support for critical print infrastructure.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move equipment up to 40 pounds.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with enterprise print management software (e.g., PaperCut, PrinterLogic).
  • Knowledge of print security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with scripting for automated printer deployment (PowerShell, VBScript).
  • Experience with cloud-based printing solutions.
  • Understanding of print output management and pull printing concepts.
  • Familiarity with various printer hardware brands and models.
