Description:

At COMHAR, we are dedicated to delivering health and human services that empower individuals, families, and communities to lead healthier, self-sufficient lives. We are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to enhance our HR team.

Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM (30 min lunch break) Three days in-office and two days remote.

Compensation:
Annual salary is $45,760.00 ($22.00/HR)

Key Responsibilities:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will cultivate and sustain client relationships while actively sourcing professionals in a dynamic, high-volume setting. Responsibilities include:
- Implementing innovative sourcing strategies
- Conducting interviews, extending offers, and facilitating the onboarding of successful candidates across various company locations.
- Developing and executing measurable search strategies focused on continuous improvement and results.

Recruitment Duties:
The Specialist will collaborate with management to effectively navigate all phases of the recruitment lifecycle. This includes:
- Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of recruitment practices and organizational policies.
- Proactively addressing key challenges during the recruitment process and providing insights and solutions.
- Demonstrating creativity and enthusiasm for recruiting to support our goal of building a skilled workforce and enhancing COMHAR's culture within the Human Services sector.

Candidate Sourcing:
- Sourcing, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates
- Managing the Applicant Tracking System
- Ensuring timely communication of applications to hiring managers and scheduling interviews.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws during recruitment activities.
- Researching and recommending effective recruiting sources to build a qualified candidate pool.
- Participating in job fairs and community events to promote career opportunities.
- Utilizing talent acquisition technology to anticipate future organizational needs.
- Providing regular updates on recruitment activities.

Onboarding Responsibilities:
- Preparing offer letters in accordance with organizational requirements.
- Facilitating a smooth onboarding experience for new hires, including completion of necessary paperwork.
- Conducting reference and background checks.
- Representing the organization to potential candidates by providing information and answering inquiries.
- Verifying credentials and other professional qualifications relevant to the position.

Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Communication, or a related field, or a High School diploma/GED with 3 years of relevant recruiting experience in a high-volume environment.
- Preferred experience in the healthcare/behavioral health sector.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Strong knowledge of effective recruiting techniques and employment regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with management and candidates.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Persistent follow-through on assignments.
